WHY SHOULD WE HIRE YOU? | Best Answer (from former CEO)
How to answer the job interview question "Why should we hire you?". This is the best way I've seen to answer this question.
There are many forms of this question:
Why should we hire you?
Why do you want this job?
What makes you the best candidate?
Why would I want to hire you?
How are you qualified to do this job?
Why do you want to work here?
Why do you want to join our company?
Why do you want to work for us?
Why do you want to work at our company?
I discuss how recruiters only really care about whether you meet the job requirements, and the difference between recruiters and hiring managers. I also include an example and a sample answer. Also, the need to do preparation and correctly prepare for your job interview, such as printing out the job description or job posting and annotating and highlighting it.
In my experience, being on both sides of interviews, using this best answer to "why should we hire you?" (or why should I hire you?) (with this example and sample) can avoid disasters and pitfalls during job interviews such as lack of flow, and the greatest flaw of all, which is not communicating your value to hiring managers, or communicating to recruiters how you meet all the posted job requirements.
On my channel, I explore all the common job interview questions, including "why should we hire you?" - the second most common job interview question - usually used towards the beginning of every job interview. Please see the other videos in my "Get Hired" playlist for more tips.

    Question. If you do online selling say on ebay and shopify what is the percentage of selling fees that is not clear? Also if you are selling items online or offering a service like tutoring or courses when do you start creating accounting books as though you are a legitimate concern as a business?

    Job interviewers are stupid. They hire people who are the most characteristic and then wonder why they dont do the job well.

    Love this entrepreneurship content, Bill! I sure wish I'd had this 2.5 years ago when I took the leap. Even doing it cheaply and being mature enough to know where my skills were lacking (marketing and sales eeek!), it's been a hard slog. Iteration has been key, but sometimes I've run out of ideas for the next step. The interesting thing is that I suddenly have job offers for sales positions! Even if my business doesn't make it, the skills I've acquired will be with me forever. Hope I can join live next week.

    I just started my new Job. I want to quit. Reasons are toxic workplace etc... but also promises made in writing during the hiring process weren't kept. So can I say that ? Saying I'm ready to do more after only 6 months isn't very convincing...

    Hey Bill! This is my first time posting a comment on your channel and I have been following your tips for over a year. They helped me quite a bit in my job search, thank you for your amazing work! May I request a video about how to deal with an exit interview, especially when the HR team is not at all friendly about your resigning? Thanks a lot!

    • @TheCompaniesExpert
      @TheCompaniesExpert 2 дні тому

      Hi Atilla! Thank you!! Very simple policy for exit interviews: If possible, don't do them. Say nothing. If you're leaving, the game is over. Where you go from here is none of their business, and it can be dangerous to give them info, because companies have been known to sabotage their departing employee's new job! These interviews exist for the employer's benefit - not yours.

    • @lordatilla2900
      @lordatilla2900 2 дні тому

      @@TheCompaniesExpert I completely agree with everything you say. Previous coworkers who left my current company always say that HR people either try to extract information on which company you will be working next to sabotage you or they provoke you to say something really bad about them so that you can never come back again in the future. I guess the best practice is to never give them any reason to accomplish those :) Thank you very much!

    I applied for the same job in a different area and did not get it. The person who got it has not done the training. That makes me question if I am good at my role.😢 The interview was for an hour but ended up being 2 hrs 20 mins, not happy and they even asked me to change time with no thank you. Any thoughts on this?

    I had job interview 2 weeks ago and after two weeks I see some tasks to be completed on workday job application, the tasks are about social security, country of birth, US citizenship status, I got no offer, any thoughts? I was told the job requires security clearance, are they asking these information because of security clearance?
